Bench vice

First time posting on here.

Any of you old timers happen to know the maker or age of this bench vice? I picked it up at a garage sale and was told it's a Sears/Craftsman. Only markings on it are MADE IN U.S.A.
kind of a long shot but I figured I would ask. Pretty good little 3 1/2" vice, only problem with it is that the swivel doesn't securely lock Into place so I smashed a 9mm case to use as a shim so it securely locks the swivel.

Whomever made it, It's at the lower end of the line. The exposed screw is the clue. It can do the work in a home shop.

Possibly made by Columbian for Sears. If you mount it properly at the edge of your bench it will be more useful in that you will be able to hold longer/larger work below the table edge.

Does your slide have anything on it?? Mine just says crusader. Has the same made in USA on the side.

I’ll throw in another vote for made by Columbian.
Not a bad user if you realize its limitations.

Columbian made vises for Sears/Craftsman. You have a late 60/early 70s homeowners light use bench vise.
