I'm sure this kind of project has been done somewhere else. But this weekend I was looking for somewhere to store my buffer that was not lying on my floor or underneath my workbench. So I thought it really goes with the bench grinder anyway. With a buffer you are swapping buffs and wire wheels and such. I came up with this solution to store the buffer out of the way. It also adds a little weight to the bench grinder stand which is nice. Then I further got to thinking well there's plenty of times I don't want my vice in the way while I'm welding up fitments. And I don't like reaching down on the floor to pick it back up. So I decided to put another storage slot on the other side of the bench grinder. If anybody else works in a small shop like I do and you're always searching for space. You might find this useful.
