I bought this at a garage sale for 25$, and can’t identify it. I appreciate any help.

I have seen an Olympia vise just like that and it's made in China as well. It lives outside on a welding table for years and still works.

They tend to be low quality Chinese vises, but if you get one that lasts, you'll find it to be really useful. I have 2 that I use all the time.

Older model generic Chinese import. They were sold under lots of names.

Handy for painting stuff.

Almost all the vises of that style are Asian imports nowadays, and have bern going back decades.
The original version was the Sawyer Nutype vise made in Oswego NY, but those can be differentiated by the name cast into the side on the main body of the vise.
I have no clue how the design got to China.
The Asian made versions from decades ago sometimes show poor casting of parts, and bondo type filler, but otherwise seem to have been pretty sturdy, since they show up frequently enough, sometimes with evidence of hard use.
The imports aren’t really valuable, since you can buy new versions, cast from high strength ductile iron, for $200, and cheaper grey iron versions for way less.
If you just need a vise, that style is really worthwhile to have.

It’s provably worth what you paid or a bit more.

I picked one up just like with missing pipe jaws. It look like a Baileigh vise and I think the jaws will work. What keeps the jaws from turning 180deg. Mine was welded and there is not a lock screw or pin like the new Baileigh.

Sorry, you won't be slapping $5 of paint on it and flipping it for $400.
You can if you call it a proto type wilton bullet. Very few made and wilton made them in a secret forging plant with no visible markings. A must have for the serious wilton collector. Starting bid 700 or BO

It's a saying.. antiquated I guess...

Trying to get across 'I wouldn't be so sure' ... based off what people pay these days and the irrational exuberance a fresh gray paint job brings. Tongue in cheek.
