Benchtop Pro parts washer

Was wondering if anybody has one of these?

Torn between getting a cheapy tsc/hf model and putting some Smartwasher SW4 solution http://www.chemfree.com/products/sw-4.html in it, or getting one of these little plastic guys.

Looking at the MSDS, they're both from Chemfree, just can't find the BT5 solution in 5 gallon jugs.

I'll stick to my clear Sterilite totes, hobby brushes, and a gallon of Simple Green.

I'm right there. I ended up getting a 5 gallon jug of SW4 today, we'll see how it does without being heated.

If you need heated for gears and nuts/bolts you can hit up a goodwill and get an old (large) coffee percolator machine. Rig some wire around the filter and put in some simple green with water, plug it in and wait 10 minutes.


This was my first parts washer solution. Worked great. Good luck.

what did the sw4 cost you? I'm in the market but the pricing seems too high locally. (sw3 for me)
