Benchtop tools

I have some Benchtop universal joints from Kmart. The 3/8 cracked the other day. I know they have a lifetime warranty. I'm wondering if Kmart will honor it since they carry Craftsman now. Anyone had any experience with Kmart honoring the warranty?

The Kmart by me doesn't have any Benchtop tools anymore, the aisle is completely Craftsman now.

Doesn't hurt to see if they will exchange it if they are like the one by me and have all C-man.

Toss the Benchtop in the trash and go replace it with any of the better name brands (which does not include HF) you have seen mentioned here and it will probably last the rest of your natural life!

Wait a few weeks and go into Kmart. The girl at the service desk won't know what BenchTop is so you might need to talk to a manager. Right now, the store manager is so busy that he won't be able to help you but after the holidays they should be able to give you some kind of replacement.... I think.

I would not waste the time on it, go buy the craftsman and be done. At least you know the warranty will not be a issue.
