Bend Pak BP12-SS

Folks,

Buying a house with this old BP-12SS Pro Lift 4 Post that looks like was made by Bend Pak. Not much info is out there about this lift, The lift goes up and down and no weird noises nor leak, just looks monstrous. I called for an agent to look and test it out, but since it is so old, they won't be able to certify it. I might call few others folks outside my area to come by and check it out but curious if you have any experience with this and what to look for.

Just my opinion, but it’s probably not seen much use if it’s in a residential setting, despite being thirty years old. As long as the cables and lines are visually ok, it’s probably good for another thirty years.

Power packs are available from many internet sources. They’re pretty much universal fit, for the most part.

I see a lot of commercially used, heavily rusted lifts on marketplace for $500-$2000. Those at the lower prices look really rough, though.
