i bought a bend pak 2 post lift a few years ago for my shop where i mostly build customs. i absolutely love the 2 post, but have always wanted a 4 post also! I've been busier then ever and have been short on room, problem solved, i NEED a 4 post now.
i did some research on the web and read all the threads here, with the awesome post and my personal experience with bend pak i decided on the hd 9 xw, mainly for the fact of the 82" walk under height and the 4 corner air locks. some people didn't like the fact of needing air and power to operate this lift, but i have both at my disposal so it wasn't an issue for me, quality and customer service was.
i had it delivered to my buddies garage door business, he has a fork lift and a loading dock. we got it off the truck and loaded onto my trailer. it got a little banged up, but nothing too bad.
it took me about 8 hrs to set it up, with the help from my wife to lift up the cross beams, i used another members idea with the saw horse set on the post so you could slide the cross beams down easier, worked great. and needed some help getting the main ramps up on the cross beams, so basically about 15 mins of help and the rest was all me.
