+1...for the Rotary. That's the one I'm getting.

Could be salesman talk, but the shop I talked to, who sells/services tons and tons of these and other brands, said they will not even work on Bend Paks due to the design inferiorities.

The truck shop that does most of the heavy work on my Peterbilt has two 25,000 lb. capacity Bend-Pak drive-ons. George has never had one single problem with them in ten years.

I have used Rotary's in the past (twin posts) at several dealers where I worked and they are great lifts. We have a great dealer in our area should service be required.

Flip a coin.... but I guess I'd buy the Rotary.

Rotary Lifts are made in Madison, Indiana. I'm a sales engineer for a Louisville, Kentucky company and have visited Rotary's plant which is about 50 miles from Louisville. I can tell you, their plant is first class. They even have a show room that has their lifts along side of their competitors so you can compare them. I can assure you, Rotary is a quality lift.

I just got the MX-10ACX. I installed it myself and it works great. Bought it from http://www.e-autolifts.com/
They had great service and I got the lift in about 6 business days. I don't think you can go wrong with either lift. A friend worked at a ****** shop and all they had were Bend Pak Lifts.

I had 22 of the Rotary lifts in my Viper Plant, never had a problem with any of them; the local Rotary rep came in and trained my millwrights on installation techniques, and was always available if we needed him for anything. Independent lift manufacturers are going out of business one after another due to the skyrocketing price of steel in the U.S. and the resulting inability to compete with the Chinese-made lifts that are everywhere now, but Rotary has been in business for decades and isn't dependent on residential sales for their financial health. I'd go with the Rotary, even if it's a bit more expensive.

Just lowered my wifes 68 mustang off the Rotory, got it used and has been a great addition to the work shop. My boy worked in a transmission shop that had the bend and the rotory the rotory he said was a far better unit. we have the two post. and love it will keep my eyes open for a 4 post in the future they bothe have there advantages. Just picked up a home made drive on unit that till as you drive on and get the vehicle at about 2.5 feet of the ground for $50 the long channel is good for something. Ed ke6bnl

Did you get that price local (here in NJ)
I have seen The Rotory A 10 on the net for around $3275 and the Bend-pak 10acx for around $2365
I 'm just a hobbyist, but a friend has a transmission shop and uses the bend-pak,
and uses it a lot, with no problems.
but like I said if I could find the rotory at a price that was close, that's what I would buy

Got the quote from SAR, now located in Barrington:

http://www.sarlifts.com/

Real nice people. I'm not sure what the price would be without installation as I've never considered doing one of these installs myself. If it falls, I'd rather it be somebody else's fault, not mine.

I guess I have to ask myself....why is the BendPak so much cheaper? The first thing that comes to mind is quality of product/manufacture.

I have both lifts. Different lifting specs for each but food for thought... the Bend Pak parts are $$$ when they do need to be replaced. The Rotary is simple to work on and repair if needed and parts are less than Bend Paks.

My Bend lifts 27K
Rotary lifts 9K.

I love them both.
