I'm purchasing a Rogue Fab Tube bender on their Cybermonday sale and I'm considering picking up Bend-tech software on their cybermonday deal. Has anyone used the EZ3D product and upgraded to Pro? I've looked at the comparison and the features in Pro don't seem that necessary, but curious if anyone has used both and has any thoughts on if it's worth the extra $120 or so difference.

In general is it worth it?

Here are links to the two versions -

Seems like the printed coping/fish mouth cut sheets that you can tape to the tube is probably the most useful thing.

I purchased Pro, and I think it's worth the money over EZ3D. Being able to put together assemblies is worth it as you can get the coping information and know that everything is going to fit together without guess work or extra measuring. The coping templates are great for oddball joints.

Regardless of which one you go with, definitely go through the process of calibrating your dies. I attempted to use their pre-calibrated values and they were way off. Trust me on this one!

I have pro, but havn't used it in years. Mostly what BB&G said.

I love it! I used to make sketches of frames all the time before I got BT, now can make to scale cad sketches that look great!

Not a fan of that bender though. Never used one, but never see people that know using them either. Seems over complicated too me.

Thanks guys. Bull, too late, ordered it this morning. Everyone I’ve talked to that has one has raved about it. Hopefully I didn’t make a mistake. I’ll post some pics once it’s built and I’m bending tube.

Thanks for the advice. I added it to my Xmas want list. We’ll see if Mrs. Claus picks it up.

Some motivation, this is the buggy in my avatar.

I didn't build it, just drew it. lol!
