I'm looking for a tube bender that will bend 1/2" thinwall stainless steel tubing. Anyone have a recommendation that won't break the bank?

I haven't used this one but you might check out this little jewel from our good friends at Harbor Freight:

IF you are bending this to "look nice" a lot of the electrical benders are going to disappoint you...scratches and the like...even with duct tape.

You need a bender with composite shoes or rollers to keep from scratching up that stainless..or if it is one or two regular/repeated bends - a hardwood form and routered shoes of wood are the best, for the cost.

best of luck.

I've run lots of that for DEF systems in generator enclosures. I always use my Ideal 1/2" conduit bender. It won't make real tight radius bends, but the bend formulas and math for 1/2" emt work out to within about 1/8". I also used it for new compressor install. (The long radius bend in the pic, I just did by hand-)
