Bendpak Arm Restraint Gears Question

Actually I think these will engage when the arms leave the floor -- I'll wait until the electrician connects the lift next week and will test it then.

When the lift arms start raising, those blocks will seat into the matching grooves. It allows you to swing the arms in the down position, but locks the arms in place once the arms start raising. If you need to move the arms while the arms are raising, there is a pin you pull up that disengages the blocks that is spring loaded.

I had my 2 post GP7LC installed today by professional installers and I just noticed that it looks like they did not install the Arm Restraint Gears correctly. On my lift, the gear restraints are not level at the bottom. Whereas in Bendpak promo video, it looks like they are flush with the bottom.

I didn't see any comments about this in the installation guide. Does anyone know how to lower the Restraint Gear? I posted a photo of my lift vs the Bendpak Promo Video.

Sir you should think about sending the lift back if you couldn’t figure out how that works!
