I have a triple wide BenPak lift and want to add an additional double wide. I have been really happy with BendPak but have been quoted a too expensive (for me) price and even more silly delivery period. Any ideas?

I can't really help with a suggestion. But after having so many issues with my Bendpak lift and the... very slow response to those issues from Bendpak I don't know that, if I were to look for a new lift in the future, they would be on the top of my list.

I think if you have a lift from them and don't have any issues then they're great. But in my experience, if you have issues... yeah not so great.

1: How much was the triple wide?

2: what is the quote for the double wide?

3: what do you think the double wide should cost?

Advantage and Wildfire both make double wide four post lifts, and have great customer service reputations.

I doubt if they are cheaper than BendPac, though. Most likely a fairly significant price bump.

My experience with Bend Pak has been superb when it comes to customer service. I have made multiple purchases from Bend Pak over the years, and like anything mechanical problems can arise occasionally. Whenever I had an issue, they immediately found a solution that was acceptable to both of us to rectify the problem. I judge a company based on how they handle problems. I rate Bend Pak AAA++++++++ for both quality and service after the sale. Unfortunately in today's economy prices are rising, and manufacturers have no control over these price increases. I believe that Bend Pak does everything possible to mitigate price adjustments whenever they can, but they can't control some material costs, such as steel, cylinders, steel cabling, pullies, pins, etc. that they must purchase from other vendors.

I agree with Junkman. I have bought and had BendPak install 2 different lifts in 2 of my homes. Their customer service was excellent. We are in the plan approval phase of a 1550 sq. ft. garage and plan to install a BendPak 2-post asymmetrical arm lift in that garage.

I have an HD-9 and over the 15yrs I never had an issue. I'm in Canada and dealt with Babco sales in BC.

Interesting I've had the complete opposite experience. Non-responsive... and when you do get a response it could be weeks later (in my case three weeks later) and then the response is completely unhelpful.

I'm still waiting for a response currently. It's been about a week.

The first response took about week only to give me advise that didn't pertain to my lift (they either didn't bother to read the ticket or... I don't know) so I still wait... I'd give them a D... possibly an F

I have had my HD14 for over 10 years with two rolling air jacks.
I called them to ask about the air lock valve that leaked very slightly they sent one out 3 days later no charge.
Good sales and service for me.

Took a year before my Bendpak scissor lift was in full working order with back and forth and waiting and just a bunch of issues. It's like I got a prototype, not a polished product...I would not buy them again.
