Hey all,

Just pulled the trigger on a bendpak HD-9XW. I am stoked. While I would love to have also purchased an RJ-45 along with it, I simply couldn't afford it at the moment. Is anyone aware of a similar (cheaper) jack that will fit the lift? Possibly a used/refurbished RJ-45 anyone is willing to sell?

Wish I knew, but that's a nice looking bridge jack, considering getting it myself. Would also like the DP-40 oil pan.

LOL, damn, these lifts are like cars.... Always more mods.

Did you get a JP3/JP6 with your lift? I'm just planing to use a couple 12 ton bottle jacks and jack stands. I may even give those air operated ones a try.

Good idea! Didnt get them yet, but have been thinking about it. Was a little worried about clearance with a bottle jack as both my cars are pretty low. Which bottle jacks do you suggest?

At Princessauto.com in Canada we have these "stubby" jacks available. http://www.princessauto.com/pal/en/Bottle-Jacks/12-Ton-Horizontal-Vertical-Bottle-Jack/8158297.p I assume HF has the same in the USA.

I guess you would need around 10" clearance to use them but that doesn't mean you need 10" at the front lip of the car, you can place the jacks after the car is in place.

A friend purchased a rolling jack that was designed for another brand lift, and it wouldn't roll. The jack was similar to the BendPak, but the part that contacted the lift wasn't the same. He returned the jack, and purchased a BendPak RJ6 jack instead. Like a lot of others, he has been happy with the rolling jack. Once you have a rolling jack, you will never go back to the bottle jacks again.

Do you know if his jack has safety locks of some sort so that you don't have to use jack stands with it? That's one thing I've always wondered about those jacks.
