Bendpak four post with chains instead of cables

I tried using the search feature, but could not find anything.

I am looking at a vintage Bendpak (don't know the model #) 4 post that has large chains instead of cables. Looking on the Bendpak website, it appears all the current 4 post lifts are cable lifted.

So... is this just a really old model? Anyone have one using chains instead of cables?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't know on bend pak. Don't deal with brand lift at all. I do know the old FORWARD four post alignment racks were chains.

I picked up a big used Bendpak 27x (27,000 lb) which is chain op not cable.....love it. The chain does not stretch like cable does.....much heavier design....way more expensive to build now, the five link chain is $30 ft. I would pick chain any day.....

Thanks for the input. I am certain this is an older model. I found some replacement chain that looks identical, although it appears the chain is all there.
If I can get it cheap enough, I may take a chance on it.

My brother and I use a Ben Pearson 4 post lift (I think that's the brand - it's not Bendpak) that uses chain. The lift came out of a muffler shop and the front chain does show some wear/stretch but still works fine. We want to replace the chain but one could almost buy a new lift for the cost of the chain...
