Lot's of prep over the last few weekends to get this far and still a ton more to go but it started looking like something tonight. More to come but here are a few teaser pictures. HD-9XW.
I got a quote for the same one and am ready to pull the trigger, just waiting for the garage door guys to do their thing. I am going to follow this one for sure as I am on the fence of installing it myself or paying someone. Local guy wants $1,000 to take delivery, install and supply oil. Seems high. Good luck!

The runways are the heavy part, the power side is probably 700+ pounds. I can still do that alone with the cherry picker (we'll find out tonight).

Yeah, I did mine by myself with a cherry picker. Just be careful you don't knock over your posts & crossbeam with the first ramp as you're positioning it. Once you have the first ramp in place and bolted in you're home free.
Thanks for the post and information. I will eventually install one of these myself so all of these install threads are interesting to me. Just curious on one of your pictures. It appears you placed the two columns nearest your G-Door on a raised pad of sorts but didn't raise the two columns furthest from the door. Just curious to know if this is part of the standard install or you're trying to adjust the level of the lift for some reason?
Cheers
Awesome, wondering why you got the wide version of the hd9? I also see you opted for the extra $ for black, nice the way it all ties in, kudos. Hoping Santa brings me an HD9
.........We didn't bolt it to the floor. Didn't seem necessary considering it's got 4 posts. It's been in for around 3 years now and hasn't come anywhere near falling over so it was a good move. .....Good luck.
Subscribed.....Ordered my HD-9XW last weeek and it shipped today. I'm also on the fence of installing mine or hiring it out. Local installers want $850 and up. Since I'm not in a hurry and I have a machine to move it, I'm leaning towards taking my time and doing it myself.
I'm in the market for the same lift. Good luck.
Prices don't vary much from what you see on the Bendpak website so find a local guy with similar pricing. The wide, long, tall 9k version will run a little north of $3000 shipped. I did get mine all snugged up to the floor last week and took the summer car for its maiden voyage to test it. I was able to get about 6'8" under the runways with room to spare above the car.New guy here.....Hope you guys don't mind if I ask how much you have been paying for this lift and where you found the best price?
Thanks![]()

Thanks, I did not see prices on the bendpak website. Nice looking set up you have there. Is that a GUV I see on the left side of the pic? Where did you buy it?
