Bendpak HD-9 and the airbottle

With help from the Junkman (forever grateful) I installed my HD-9 Bendpak 2 weeks ago I just installed the air bottle for the lock and it’s not building any pressure until the lift hits the end of the cycle and the pump motor strains anybody else had this problem? It does make pressure but if I put a car on it I’m going to have to push the car thru the ceiling to get the pressure I thought it would build pressure as soon as it starts lifting. Anybody had a problem?

The one I installed makes 40-50psi pretty quick after a few inches at most any height, it will go to 100psi and pop the safety valve and purge the rest if it is ran to the top and held.

Check for leaks. Does it operate the locks fine otherwise?

It doesn't leak.
