Bendpak HD-9ST dimensions

I would like to mock up the columns of a Bendpak HD-9ST lift in my garage to make sure it will fit before ordering. I have most of the dimensions from the website but need a few not detailed in the instructions. Could someone who has an HD-9 measure the following:

- Overall column length and width ( I think it is 5” X 5”)
- Dimensions of base plate
- Where does the column sit on the base plate – I know it is not centered. Basically I am looking for an offset from a corner here.

The attached pictures show the measurements of the columns/base plates for my HD-9XW.

The columns are 6"L X 5"W.

The base plates are 12"L X 10"W.

The open part of the column is towards the inside of the lift.

I just picked up a Benpak HD-9ST. The build date is from 2005. Are the versions from that time period freestanding capable?

Download the manual. Has all dimensions but in mm so divide by 25.4 to get inches.
