I have always wanted a lift and I think I finally have the coin to do it. After a lot of reading old posts I think the BendPak is the best fit for my needs. After looking around on their website the HD-9xw looks to fit my vehicles. I have a silverado, suburban and 1963 limo so weight is a factor. Does anyone have any recent experience with this or similar models? I plan to install myself. How is delivery? I have access to a tractor but not a forklift. Where is the best place to purchase? It looks like the price is the same from bendpak and bestbuyautoequiptment.com. I guess I am not lucky enough to catch a super special or group buy :) Thanks for the help.

Are you planning on just parking the limo under or lifting it, don’t know if it will be long enough.

One thing to consider with bendpak 4 posts is you need air also to release the safety locks. They do make a kit to convert it or a new model that doesn’t use air.

A quality lift is heavy, the tractor may not work depending on its weight to pick it up.

I am hoping to get the limo in the air. It is a factory fleetwood with a wheel base of 150 inches so I hope it will fit on the 188" long runways. I am a little concerned about positioning on the lift with the super long trunk :) I figured the tractor is probably a no go. I will spring for the delivery to a terminal and have them load it on my 20 ft trailer. I figure I can unpack it on the trailer and move posts with the tractor or engine lift.

On a side note, I checked out your build thread. That is a fantastic build. I bet you are heaven in that space.
