Could a Bendpak owner be so kind as to post the data plate info for the 220 volt electric motor on their HD-9 series lift? Looking at the manual for the unit online didn't reveal the motor's amp ratings just the 25 amp fuse rating. I'm planning on hooking up 75 feet of cord so I can roll the lift anywhere in my shop should I need to, and my uncle who's an electrician wanted to know peak amps and such so he can figure out what gauge will be needed for a 75 foot run of cord.

Thanks :)

I would like to add that I don't have the lift yet, I'm not asking because I'm too lazy to look myself. The local vendor asked that I have the electrical ready before installation so I'm just trying to get the info I need to have that part ready for install. Taking a guess at the 25 amp fuse requirement my uncle figures 8 gauge should do it but can't figure it out for sure with out the info on the data plate. Thanks.

10-3 should work fine. Manual for my 10K lift called for a 20A breaker & 12-4 wire, this is for a 2 hp Baldor motor. I run 10 gauge wire on both my 3 hp tablesaw and 5 hp compressor & have no problems with either.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

Complete with a picture of the sticker that says do not remove cover and the connections beneath the cover. Note this cover is attached to a lift designed to hold 9K pound vehicles over your head.

Cheers!

Jim
