I was wondering if others have had any success greasing their lifts using the fittings supplied by Bendpak? The grease zerks are definitely not the same as any of my other shop equipment or vehicles. None of my grease guns will connect properly. Could these possibly be a metric size; do I need a different end on my grease gun?

Bendpak told me that they supply only one type of fitting and maybe I should try using a grease needle through the installed fittings to see if that would work.

Doesn't sound right to me?

I have a HD9 and think the fittings are metric, I had one that wouldn't stay on the grease gun and when I went to replace the zerk, nothing would fit except metric fittings. I also lubed up the plastic blocks with some white grease. It was sounding like it was trying to bind at the upper limit. The grease stopped all that

I was able to find grease zerks in metric thread (6mm x 1mm) with a tip that fit a regular grease gun. All the zerks I pull off were dry so I guess the installers gg didn't fit either. I'm glad I checked.

Probably won't need to grease again for quite a while. There couldn't have been much grease if any considering how much I pumped in before it came out between the sheaves and axles.

I have an HD9, and I don't remember any zerks. Where are they?

I do go over the cables every 6 months or so with gear oil and light spray on oil on the ladders.

Eight in total, one at each cable sheave axle. Two at each end of the power runway and one at each end of the cross tubes.
