Was wondering if anyone is using their Bendpak HD9-XW 4 post lift with a rolling air jack without the legs bolted down? The HD9-XW owner manual says not to use an air jack unless the legs are bolted down. Was wondering why that is. Have not heard of any other manufacturer saying that. For example, not aware of Advantage or Atlas having a restriction like that. I am using my lift for normal passenger cars and crossovers that are around 4000 lbs. Seems like the lift should have plenty of margin for using an air jack given that its rated for 9000 lbs. Thoughts??

Use my HD9 and jack all the time and it isn't bolted down. Never had an issue or felt unsafe.
