I just had a 14X installed this week and I wired it today.

I had a 40,000 pound Bend Pak before in my commercial shop and was happy with it.

This 14X is for my home shop.

It was installed by Schaffer and Sons. Paul and Marty did a good job.

Expect some scratches as there's no avoiding it. They aren't crated like a museum piece and it's cheaper to touch up than rent cranes or fork lifts.

i'm looking at the 9XW that you have. did you install it yourself? and if so, how heavy were the pieces, like the end pieces that you have to lift real high and then slide into the tops of the posts?

Don't do this! lay the poles down on their sides, and slide the crossarm in at ground level until its all the way at the bottom. Then two people can easily stand the posts back up since all the weight is at the bottom.

The ramps though, you will want to use an engine hoist for, or two floor jacks since they are the heaviest pieces

look at my build thread in my signature if you want to see how I did it. The pics are probably in the middle somewhere

Yeah, what the others have said lay them down and slide it on then lift it up. I had it installed but I helped so I can learn. I wanted it done quickly and correctly.

They post prices on their webs site for the lifts and installation runs about $1000.

They aren't complicated and you can install it yourself if you have someone willing to help you with a good back. I paid the install because I had no help available.
