Bendpak, Jacking Bridge, Bottle Jack

I just bought and setup a new 4 post bendpak lift with the jacking bridge. What bottle jack are you guys using with this setup to jack up a C5? Only have about 6 inches of clearance. Scissor jack will work but prefer bottle jack if one exists. Thanks in advance

I'd skip the bottle jacks and get one of the rj-45 rolling bridge jacks

Not everybody has a $Grand to spare on a rolling jack.

You can pick up a few inches by rotating the jack trays over so that the jacks sit down in them instead of on top of them. They are also much less likely to slide off the tray that way.

Thanks James E, Being upside down have you had any issues of it sliding off the runners it sits on. And you are right about not having a G-note extra. Amazon does sell a bottle jack that is only 6 inches high that I ordered and will give it a try.

I have some old brake rotors that will also give me 2 inches if I roll up them, might just work

try getting a set of those airbag jacks.. could pop it up some to get something taller in there if needed

Thanks James E, Being upside down have you had any issues of it sliding off the runners it sits on.

I have two jack trays and have used them both upside down and right side up. They are wide enough that once they're sitting between the rails, I cannot rotate them far enough to drop off the rails. They wedge before they clear the insde rail.

Still, I am very careful when I lift a vehicle that way and put them under load and am mindful of them slipping.

If BendPak is monitoring this thread, it would be a good idea to texture the tops of those jack platforms to make a bottle jack less likely to slide.
