That Dodge is way sweet!
Careful lifting the deisel dually. I have a friend with a dodge deisel dually, and he said there is a certain way they have to be lifted in order to not bend the frame. I don't know if he knows what he is talking about, but might be something to look into. I guess the motor is so heavy that it is an issue.

Thanks - that is sweet! How long have you had it? Restored yourself? 6 cylinder?

I've had it now for about 5 years. The body is the same way I bought the truck. I have however, obtained the original wheels, bias ply tires, refinished the wood in the bed and build the hog racks on the side. Everything on the truck is as original as it can be, with the exception of converting over to a 12V system. Engine is still the original flathead 6 with a "3 on the tree" transmission. Top speed is about 45-50 mph...:lol_hitti

Oh, it still uses leaded gasoline too.

How far into the building did you place the lift (in reference to the garage door)?

I am looking at the exact same lift and was wondering about placement - when I called BendPak the only suggestion they had was how far away the wall in FRONT of the lift should be.

How far off the front wall did BendPak say it should be?
