Re: BendPak Lifts / Ranger Products lift issue

Hi all, new member here although I'm a semi retired professional master automotive tech with 40+ years experience. I just built a new hobby shop and re-installed my Bendpak 2 post lift, the lift has been in storage since I sold my business a few years ago but has only had 3 1/2 months use on it. Problem is this, the lift goes up in spurts, pump appears to run till pressure builds up lift raises then has to build pressure again raises some more repeats till fully raised. Fluid levels are good, fresh oil, bled air from lines etc. Is there a check valve that goes out in pump? Can't seem to find any trouble shooting info on power pak unit, and unit is like brand new with little use so pump shouldn't be worn. Any thoughts experience with these would be helpful. Had 8 Bendpak units in my shop for many years never had to do a thing to them other than oil changes once in awhile, and an occasional cable or arm lock repair (almost always due to operator error, so I have no experience repairing or diagnosing the hydraulic units. Appreciate any thoughts in advance
