I picked one of these up a few months ago and am now starting to get it set-up but I have some parts that need to be replaced.

Cannot find a parts breakdown on-line, can someone tell me if such a thing does exist and where I might find it?

The lift was manufactured in 2005 but from what I have been able to read it is a very good lift. Micro switch and related components were missing as well as the safety pawl cable, Id like to get a sticker kit for it as well if avail.

Im sure the list will get bigger.

Thanks in advance.

Called bendpak today and they sent me a diagram, I need to replace a few missing parts but the prices that they ask are pretty high. Maybe some of you guys have come up with alternative sources?

I need the 4 rubber pads that would come in contact with the undercarriage of the car, I know I can pretty easily make something work but it would be nice to buy ready-made stuff and not have to pay the 34.80 per piece ( 34.80 times 4 ) that Bendpak is asking.

Also need the pad extensions ( 4 short and 4 long ) these are the tubular deals that sometimes have to be used if say for instance a vehicle with a taller than typical wheelbase is being lifted. They resemble porta-power extensions if that helps with a visual. All of mine were missing.

I need the safety release cable as well but I think that is pretty much standard stuff I can buy at the hardware store.

Also need to come up with some sort of micro switch that is missing ( and everything associated ) at the top beam to shut the lift off when something comes in contact with.

Decal kit is 50.00 but I cant have them made any cheaper locally I am sure.

The lift rubber pads you can buy on the web from many manufactures. Just measure the diameter of the pin. Have you tried calling a servicing company. A lot of them have those parts and done charge to much for them.
The company that just installed my lift has many service guys doing this all day long. There are allot of lifts out there.

I needed to replace the missing safety release cable, bend-pak sold it for 40 bucks, standard 3/32 cable that is avail at any home improvement store, I chose the latter but I need to loop one of the ends to secure it to a pin on the release.

Can anyone tell me what those little deals are called that are squeezed over the cable to form a tight union? Very small metal clamping device.

Need to prob. find them on-line but I need a proper name to locate them. Thanks

swage ferrel?

Home depot sells the tool and the ferrels... I wish you were close I have 10 of them things...

I also have some 1/2" thick rubber matting that could make your pads...

Everythnig you are missing I would just make, obviously buying a used lift to save money, I would hate to toss all the money you saved back into it...

For the lift leg extensions, I seen sets on ebay a few times, I would honestly make them too, the ones I havve for my lift are too skinny, they dont feel as sure footed as you would think they should be, I would love to make some using 3" pipe, I would do a pad on each one so I didnt have to fumble with putting the pad back on each one which makes it even less secure...

I thought about this before, figure a piece of 3" sched 40 weld a plate on the top and the bottom, weld the 1/25" solid pipe through the center and put a nice rubber pad on the top, you only need the 4" and the 6", the shorter one adds nothing and is non sense I never use that one...

Bendpak is a major PITA !!! I bought the same lift 12 years ago thinking I wouldn't have any trouble getting parts; BOY was I WRONG! I blew the cross hose so I decided to change all three. I already had the short side to the ram here (but I couldn't rememberwhy) so I ordered the cross and hose from the pump which ol' boy said was 48". The box arrived with a 90 1/2" and a 323". I called and told him and he said no problem; would send me the correct hose. A box then arrives with a USED HOSE ! I'm a little pissed, call again and was told no problem. Another box shows up with a 44" hose. At this point I'm really mad and decide to check the long hose against my old one.....7" too short. I call again and this time ol' boy says he's gonna send me just a piece of hose and to reuse my old fittings. Now I'm really pisssed as this is wrong on so many different levels not to mention isn't possible with these hose ends. I try to move up the ladder to someone else and I get the same BS about how long they are supposed to be. I try the 90 1/2" and it's too short...and then it hits me: they send one wrong hose when I bought it new and had to have them send me the correct hose. I try to tell the woman I'm talking to that their listing is wrong, I give her my measurements and ask to please send me hoses to match my original lengths. I'm told once again the the hoses they sent and the correct ones....even though they clearly don't fit. This goes back and forth about 6 times then I'm told I'll be sent and extension for the cross over which will make it 7" too long and protrude into the column and rub against the carriage and I'm told yet again that the other hoses will fit....even though I told them at least ten times I tried the ones listed and they are too short....and I'm told yet again they will fit even through I gave them the measurements off of the old hoses I originally got from them.... Now she wants pictures of the tag and the lift which I give her but that still doesn't change the fact THAT THE HOSES THEY SENT ARE TOO SHORT !!!! I'm not even going to go into when I called and asked to talk to the owner and was refused by the operator and I was going to be transferred to someone else who she refused to give me the name off...

My lift has been done for a MONTH and I'm still getting the run around even though I gave them EXACT measurements 10 times !!!! This shouldn't be that difficult. I'll never by a Bendpak product again! The irony is: I bought this thinking I wouldn't have any trouble getting parts when I needed them.
