I'm real close on pulling the trigger on a Bendpak XPR-10. I'm still ruling out few other brands like Atlas and Rotary. I'm not using this lift everyday, just on occasion on different types of vehicles. From smaller cars to lifted jeeps, to 1 ton trucks. My question for you lift owners, have you ever wish you had more height? I have the ceiling for the XPR-10-168" vs the standard 145". The "lift amount" height is still the same(rise 69"). But the 168" will just give you more room on something with taller cab, say a truck with ladder rack or something. For anyone with the standard XPR-10, how close is the roof of a full size truck? Do you ever wish you had more roof room? Is it worth the few hundred bucks more to go with the 168"?

I have the 168 and it just clears a 178 inch high drywall ceiling.

Works good for picking up my Crew Cab Chevy dually. Lots of room for the truck. I put it in at extra wide setting. You will like the extra room.

if looking at that lift, you might look at forward, and derek weaver.

if your vehicles are real tall it might benefit you like 4x4 trucks with lifts

I checked out Forward, really liked them. I hear they are made by rotary. Also the have pretty nice arm configuration, but on the con side, I didn't see an extra tall model

Looked more into the Forward lift, found they do have an extra tall extensions. Really leaning toward this this. going to go look at one this week a shop has up. They have mostly Rotary lifts, they bought a few Forward 3yrs ago and most the guys prefer it over the Rotary because of the asymmetrical/symmetrical configuration. I can do all the research on the web, but sometimes talking to real guys at shops that use them everyday will tell the truth.. They also said some of the guys there have Atlas at their home garages and like those lifts as well.

Well no other input on here? I did find out a Revolution and Forward are basically the same lift with different decals. So looks like i'll be ordering one soon, basically whoever has cheapest price with extra tall extensions. I'll leave some feedback once I get it
