I enjoy using my XPR-10 lift, but I really hate the safety lock release lever. I always had to use something to pad my hand against the end of the lever. Found a nice shifter ball to ease the pain. Super simple to install.
Hope Bendpak reads this and decides to do something similar that only costs a few dollars.

I like this idea, I am going to "borrow" it for mine! Those levers are obnoxious to use in my opinion. Should have a better system

I drill out used golf balls and stuff them on my lever ends at work. Saves the hands, and takes my mind off work if only for 30 seconds while I'm lowering cars.

Bonus:Getting to see what's inside golfball :)

What are the levers like without the ball? Just a plain bar?

1/2" rod sheared off @ 90 degrees, a hard rubber cover with the same sharp edge.
Most will find themselves holding the lever down with the palm of thier hand during lowering.
I even added a foam cover to it but it still sucked. A ball is the best...
