I'm looking at buying a bendpak XPR -12c for my home shop. Just can't find any reviews on it. Has any one used or have one?

There are so many hoists out there is hard to judge who's got a got one that is good for the price and who's is junk.

Would love a mohawk but just to much$$ to not use every day

Thanks

That might be hard to find because 95 percent of people have no need for a 12k lift. How heavy of projects are you working on?

I'm thinking your right. I will have any thing from a chev cobalt to a Chevrolet 3500 with a bail deck on it . And my brother will have some FORD 350 trucks .

I know 10k lbs will be fine. But I use a rotary 15k lb hoist at work and a rotary 10k some times...... feel much much safer under the 15k lb hoist lol.

It's not that the 10k hoists wouldn't work but when you get a truck with a load in it or a full slip tank . Having that little extra is nice.

From what I found the XPR -12c is over 1000 lbs heavier shipping weight than the xpr-10. At 2600 ish lbs vs 1650lbs . It should be built strong.

Thanks

If it's built like there 10k ones I am sure you will be happy. If you don't mind how much did it set you back.

well there xpr-10 is seling for $4000 CND.
and the XPR-12c I got for $6500 CND after tax and shipped.

sounds like a lot until you look at a Rotary 12k that is $9800 CND
The PKS 12K lb two post was $8250
the Mohawk system 1 12K lb was $10,500 CND.

just to give ya an idea on how bad us Canadians are getting bent over lol

Love my rotary 12's. The 3 stage arms are the best feature, makes it the most versatile

ya the newer Bendpaks have 3 stage arms too. iv never used a hoist with them, all the ones we have at work are the two stage arms.
