Bendpak XPR10AS Install Question - Hydraulic Lines

Installing my lift tomorrow. Each JIC fitting on the hydraulic lines have a small crush washer about 3/16" in diameter zip tied to the fitting. Is this supposed to go in the JIC connection? Never seen such a thing.

In 40 years of making hoses daily I've never seen those, either. Since JIC fittings seat on the flares I can't imagine what they're for.

I have never seen that either. I would call and ask.

Is bendpak spelled correctly or did you buy an imitation of an imitation?

I think it is spelled correctly. Stood up the posts today and got the crossbar on. I was stressing about it but they went up easy. They are really stable on their own w/o bolts.

Just spit balling here but could those just be metal eyelets from the paper tags that maybe got ripped off?
