I need to do some touch ups to a rental apartment I painted in 2019. The lid was tough to get off and there was some rusting and crud on the lip. (I wasn't storing paint properly - I know). The paint looked ok surprisingly. I mixed it and it was super watery. Is it a sign that the paint is spoiled? No foul odor. Paint looks ok visually. I painted a small section of "Scrap wall" and it looked ok.

It's like 2/3 of a gallon. I was going to transfer it to a new gallon container and filter it.

It's probably OK but watch for dripping, running etc. I absolutely hate cutting in with thin paint never seems to want to hold in brush.
