Every lift manufacturer publishes this information. It's typically 4", but check the directions for this specific lift.

I'm building a new garage and my architect keeps insisting that I need 12" footings under each post (I'm planning for a 9K Lb. 4 post lift). I've call 3 different companies now (BendPak, Advantage, Triumph) and they all claim that 4" with ~3500 PSI is fine, and that the posts do not need to be bolted down... so I'm going with that.
Question: Does anyone know pros and cons to putting an Epoxy coating on the floor, with a 4 post lift? cracking?
