Bendpak XPR-10 (wide vs narrow) question

I just took delivery of a Bendpak XPR-10 a few weeks ago and getting ready to install it. I originally was planning to install it in the wide configuration so I could have a much vehicle door opening space as possible. But I was curious, does having it in the wide configuration present any problems getting good arm placement on certain vehicles? Obviously in the narrow setting it would provide a little greater arm reach.

For those of you with an XPR-10, do you have it set wide or narrow and do you have any comments on that setting?

Thanks,

Joe

Go for the wide. My xrp10a is set wide and if it was narrow it would be a pain. Ive been able to lift narrow vehicles with no issues.

Definitely set to the wide configuration if you can. I have a new XPR10A and have not had any issues with arm reach. My father in law's 1963 Chevy Impala with the X-frame takes careful positioning of the car and full extension of front and rear arms to reach the frame, but no problems lifting. You will love your new XPR10A!
