Bent hitch coupler?

Attached are the photos of the coupler. One in the normal position, the other flipped over position. There is a distinct bend. But is it intentional or by accident? Should I replace it or can I keep it? If bent by accident, how would you recommend to unbend it?
Thank you.

PS: Fulton Products 34-600 Class IV 6,000 lbs

I would think it is very likely compromised. Why risk an accident? I have seen to many trailer incidents happen without starting out with a potential issue.

It is about $ 48 to replace on Amazon

It's not bent on purpose. Replace it. Even if it's a hundred bucks, safety first. It's hard to control a trailer that is no longer attached to your tow vehicle.
