I busted the heads off two 24" HF breaker bars but I was standing on them and I am 210. Warranty that sucker!

Really?
I'm 195 and it took bouncing on the HF 1/2" torque wrench to break it. I picked up the 24" bar when I warrantied the torque wrench. The breaker bar was quite a bit springier, so I needed a little steadying when I bounced on it, but the nut gave way before the bar showed any sign of failure.

(I wouldn't normally use a torque wrench as a breaker bar, but when it's a choice of a 90 minute round trip or abusing a $10 wrench...)

I tossed both of the bars not realizing that I could have got the heads from HF. I still think they one of if not the best bang for your buck in tools.

The HF breaker bars are made in Taiwan, not China. They have generally quite good reviews.

Not any more. I bought one of the long ones the other day and it is made in China. The head is a little sloppy too. But it was like $8.00 with a coupon so I don't care.

OK....since I don't have a pic of the 24" that had a slight curve to it...here is one of the 36" with a few other tools I used tonight after work to fix a ball-joint/A-arm.

Hope it isn't too grainy, cell phone again!

The other bar in there is an 18" Craftsman that is about 30+ years old, with some 1/2" drive PROTO sockets, a couple of Snappy pry-bars, and a 17mm, 18mm and 21mm Snappy Wrenches.

Satisfied????? :D

PS-not a single 16mm on the front end of THIS Focus! :shocking:
