I picked up my first lift today for a great price, only to get it home to find out the baseplate is gone. What do I do now? Should I look for a used one or should I make one. I am a welder by trade and have access to solid stock 2 - 3 inches thick, all I would need would be for someone to post some dimensions. Please help my wife will strangle me if she finds out.

I have a BENWIL PRO-7. I can measure when I get home and let you know tomorrow. Might you have an installation diagram? I also need some help with how far off front wall must I install to leave room for car front end and work area. I am thinking around 10-12'. A sketch would help. Mine is a semi Asymetrical system which means the rear of the car is extended further back on the lift needing less room up front. If you can help with this. let me know.

I just measured the baseplate for an engineer to see if it will meet California's challenging seismic standards. I've attached a rough drawing of it I created in a CAD program on my laptop. Obviously don't rely on this drawing... Its only posted to give you a ROUGH idea of its dimensions
