Bergen tools are flooding ebay in the U.K.
Has anyone had any experience with their tools, are they rated for a professional workshop, or are they suitable for immediate binning?

Love to know your opinions and ratings of these "apparent" products.

I've got odds and ends of their stuff, not stuff I'd use everyday, mainly airtools.Cut off tool(needs a lot of air to work well), air hacksaw(not bad),couple of air drills(no problems),1/2 inch impact sockets.None of their tools I've had problems with and would always consider them for tools that I use infrequently enough to buy top quality.

Hi
I have 3 or 4 set of bits, hex, torx, long & std, good for the money, not had
any snap on me or bend.

Sockets 1/4 & 3/8 sd 6mm to 24mm 6 point, i use them when i may damage the socket, but have not yet.

The quality is unreliable, some of the bit are not in line with the bit holder, but the price is right, as a back up tool great.

As a working tool v/good, but they do not look as good as the top tools.

If you are looking for a tool that is not used a lot, but will do the job.

I think they are a good tool for the price, now thinking about them i have had
no problems with them in 6 years & i have 40 or 50 tools, & they get the ****
jobs, to keep my good tools clean LoL:D

PS

My mate put me on to Bergen tools & he has worked for BMW, Honda & Mercedes, ( & Ford but )

PSS

I think Bergen may have closed down ??????, only the tools left are on sale, ????

This has topic been on here before, mostly sold by pikeys at car boot sales ,
German sounding name but from China's armpit. , tools similar quality to Nilsson or rolson ( spelling probably wrong)
Tools somewhat big and clumpy , verging on nasty , my brother broke a Bergen torx bit clean off with very little effort , it snapped like a carrot !

I just picked up a few of thier items from a source in the UK. Its ok for your average DIYer but I wouldn't want to use them everyday in a shop like envirorment
