I gave up on the regular bernzomatic torches. Last couple I had just would not stay lit. Not like the old ones. Even upright they were touchy, a couple different ones tested on several canisters. I think someone said on here they had to change something in the design due to the EPA ?

Anyway, does this one work any better? Since it's made to be used in different positions...

Ahhh **** now I see it's just a hose thought it had its own torch head on it.

I use the head with the 3-4ft hose. Does pretty good for the job I do. It gives you the angle you need and less strain to your wrist vs the fix heads. Just remember to clear the hose after every use.

I use 5' hose and a benzomatic ts8000 best small torch I've ever had. Both held up very well. The hose is nice and combine that with the auto ignite, I can get it into some funky positions....

This has a consistent and adjustable flame.

^^^I agree. Those are excellent.

I like the fact that off is really off vs. some torches where you shut the valve and there's still a slight flame that keep on burning. (safety issue)
