What does everyone use?

ps... I'm not looking for Snap-On testimonials. We know already. I mean what else has earned your trust.

Whatever is on SALE! ;)

Hmm Craftsman, Mac Tools, Husky, I got some cool square handled ones at Kmart once (Good torque), Always liked Stanley. Etc Etc.

Really I don't think I have ever found a screwdriver that didn't really work pretty well.

I love those new combo ones with the changeable heads, bit bulkier but I can't stand having to go back to the box for the phillips when I though the screw was a standard or vice versa. Got a Husky one recently that was at the checkout where the shaft can go in either the end of the handle like normal OR through the center of the handle so you can use it as a T screwdriver. That one might be my new fave.

I have a really nice set of Mac and two different SnapOn ratcheting screwdrivers. The best ones in the house are the Craftsman Professional Series that are in my wife's household tool box. They are, without a doubt, the most comfortable handles on any tool in the house.

I hate to say it but I usually only buy snap on screwdrivers because I think they are the best fit for me. I just bought a set of Husky from Home Depot and I like them a lot. I will have to check out those Craftsmen Profesional.

Kliens,, is there any other???? ha,, I like the nut drivers too, the best grips and when you have Kliens you look like a pro sparky. Same with sidecutters and wire strippers. Home Depot even carries them.

I have the Ridgid Line of Screwdriver I bought from Home Depot although they are no longer available at H.D. I like'em for two reasons...they're comfortable and two few people have them so they won't walk away as easily.

I only have the standard craftsman screwdrivers so admittedly I've never tried the 'comfortable' counterparts but given how little I use the screwdrivers does it really matter ? Perhaps I don't use them as often as most of you guys and that's why I'm wondering what it is that you guys are doing that I'm missing out on ? :D

BTW, I use my 9v cordless drill/driver a lot more than the regular screwdrivers. Heck I use it for buzzing the lug nuts on and off after the breaker bar or torque wrench

My main screw drivers are regular old craftmans, nothin special. They work well enough for me, but I dont use them that often. I think the Irwin 3 sided ones are kinda cool, but I have never seen them in stores. I do have 3 older craftsman professionals, with the ********* round handles, and I like them alot. Hardened tip, probably from the stanley-craftsman era. I did use one of those C-man professionals in the store a little while back, and I really liked it, but I cant see spending that much when A, you dont have any money, and B when I dont use screwdrivers all that often. Kleins are VERY nice, but at something like $10+ a peice, are more intended for the daily user. Of course, snap ons are always high quality, but sometimes thier handle feels a bit awkward.

I just picked up these Craftsman Professionals. They feel awesome and I believe they are a good value.

I've pushed my old standard Craftsman red/white/blue's to the car trunk. A while ago I bought the Craftsman pro models that were all black, now they've been pushed aside in favor of the newer Craftsman red & black pro models. Haven't really had a chance to beat them up yet so I'll reserve judgement for now, but what little I have used them they're confortable in my hands and I was able to get some good torque with them.

Klein are nice indeed. I can justify spending that kinda money on screwdrivers though, considering that I dont use them very much at all. I do have one or two from Klein, snap on, as well as a three sided irwin (which is cool). The only full set I have is the basic craftsmans, and they serve me well. I use sockets much more frequently.

I prefer the Matco - fit my hands well. Have orange flat tip and green phillips. That way if someone else is over I can say give me the big green one lol.

I just ordered some #2 phillips heads for work out of McMaster Carr. I choose their more expensive ones and was surprised when I got them they were Whia. Very nice.

I still use the old time Craftys quite a bit and I have no complaints with them. I also have a few old Mac screwdrivers I like as well as my SO screwdrivers.

Klein tools they look ugly but, they fit my hand great. Same with their pump pilers theres none any better. I have notice Klein is being replaced with Ideal most vendors claim it's has to do with the return policy. This makes me sad:(

I bought the Craftsman pros when they went on sale, right after I bought a set of Wiha, but oddly enough I tend to still use the old orange and lime harbor freight set I have handy. Maybe I will get more of a preference once I run into a few difficult fasteners.

I also bought the Metabo 4.8v Rocklers had on sale, with the plan to migrate a lot of twisting work to it. So far I like the general feel, but don't trust it yet to put the last bit of torque on a fastener. My old EZdriver ball is first choice for controlled application of torque.
