Bessy tin snips

I was off of work today and went out with a buddy to the Cabelas store, some other stops, and lunch.
He's a hustler and said for me doing the driving he was giving me this set of snips. So I drove, which I was planning on doing anyway without asking for anything in return and he knew that.
I also paid the whole lunch tab and tip in return for his favor. So I am out ~$15 for these.

I never heard of Bessy but they seemed worth it to me.
What is the thought on their quality? I haven't tried them yet.
What is their COO? There is nothing on the tools.
I have Googled them but haven't seen this set to answer my own questions.
EDIT- They are brand new never used.

It's Bessey with two e's, that's why you didn't find them. They're known for their clamps and I think it's a German company.

Once my misspelling was pointed out I found out that Bessey is a big name in clamps, as was said above, and they are a German family owned business.
Their site does not say where their tools are made, I'm just wondering.

I also found they are available through Home Depot for $57.
