Hello,
I am looking at getting a 1/2" drive cordless impact and could use some recommendations. The primary use of the tool would be to tighten and loosen clamp bolts for cultivation tooling on our tractors while out in the fields. Most of these bolts are either 3/4 or 7/8" NC and will be running on dirty, gritty threads so I need a tool that has the torque to break them loose.
I am partial to Milwaukee, I have some of the M12 tool and am very impressed, however if someone else makes a better tool for the job I will definitely look elsewhere.
We have some cordless Makita tools on the farm and I'm pretty impressed but I have no experience with their impacts, I used some Dewalt cordless a few years ago and I remember them being well built but also seeming heavier than they should have been and a little underpowered, maybe this has changed but I have no recent experience.
Recommendations?
Thanks!
Erik
