I'm building a 24x30 garage with 12' ceilings and was wondering what a good 4' led surface mount light is and where you got them from. I don't want the cheapest but don't want the most expensive either. Not sure yet if I'm gonna run wire to each light or get linkable fixtures. I'm thinking of going with a 5000k. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I went with Barrina from Amazon. They were cheap, bright, low profile and linkable. They are by no means the best option and if they cut up its to replace them. But they give great light and I did my whole 22x24 (11’ ceilings)shop with a 10-pack.

I think the RAB lights are good quality at a fair price. https://www.prolighting.com/commerc...commercial-lighting.html?brand=804&length=500 Over spec them and then use the dimming feature to fine-tune.

But you need to know your plan to get the correct amount of lumens per lamp. What are you using the space for? How bright do you want it? In general, more fixtures = less shadowing. Check out the layout sticky for ideas or find similar lights on this site to help you plan. https://www.visual-3d.com/tools/interior/default.aspx?id=15168
