Best belt sander belts

I need to buy new sanding belts for the 6*48 belt sander in the woodshop. Somebody purchased a bunch in the past and I stuck one of those on but the seam is very tall. Tall enough that your workpiece bounces off the platen. I've always bought my 4*36 belts at harbor freight but sometimes they behave that way too. Who makes sanding belts with a smooth seam?

3M and Norton are my brands of choice.

Not cheap, but they last so much longer than cheap belts that they make up the difference in cost.

As above, 3M and Norton for belts. I use Norzon for metalwork. I don’t do enough wood these days to make a good recommendation on that.
