Best caulking for siding?

Need a recommendation. I have Truwood (composite wood) siding on my house and garage that needs the caulking repaired.
Not sure what my painters used, but it's cracking after only a few years.

So what has worked for you guys? Easy to apply, paintable, and won't crack.
Not just brand but specific caulk or link. Thanks.

Smooth it with your finger and mineral spirits

For our home repairs and projects, I have had great and lasting repairs with Loctite Polyseamseal on a variety of different interior and exterior surfaces.

I'll also have to check out OSI Quad, based on the feedback here.
