Best cheap 1/2" Impact?

"I bought this product with the intent on using it on the undercarrage of vehicles protective covers and what not, I tested it on lug nuts and if this is what you want to use it for dont , it is only good for low torque bolts."
but I'm wondering if he just got a bad one, as the other reviews do sound good.

...or he's an idiot. hard to tell with internet reviews. And who the hell would buy a 1/2" impact for undercovers?...what's the biggest fastener in use for something like that that...3/8"?

My cheapo dewalt brushed impact driver with a 3/8" adapter had no problem taking the lug nuts off my 3/4 ton truck. I have a tough time believing any 1/2" impact wrench made in the last couple years will have much trouble with lug nuts.

Buy it and try it...if it does the job, great. If not, go return it within 30 days.

Any chance to test the voltage on the battery? I haven't had the opportunity to check them out myself, still waiting to see them at the warehouse. I might just run out and buy one, test it out, then return it. Who knows, maybe it'll hit the returns dept and I can grab it for the shop...

I use a Ryobi 18 volt impact at work to take 8-1”1/8” bolts out of an Ejector for the cylinders of a Side Loader Garbage Truck! Works great, plenty of power! I recommend it to any do it yourselfers!
