Disregarding the price, what are peoples experience or opinion on the absolute BEST Commercial grade floor epoxy?

I have a couple from a list a while ago, but was checking to see if others here had any recent additions to the market.

Thanks!

Wow, don't everyone post at once now! haha

Ok, so I found a couple commercial products not available for public/retail sale that some local contractors can get. I'm waiting back on the quotes, although I have a good idea of what they cost.

Looks like its going to be a 20-30mil thick epoxy solid, and a clear coat top finish.

Try Tnemec. http://tnemec.com/stratashield/ They are an industrial coating company and have a wide variety of extreme duty floor coatings, as well as paints and coatings for most any need. That sounds kind of like a commercial, but I have used them in the water/wastewater industry for many years. I used their epoxy urethane coating on my garage floor. You will probably need to get it through a commercial painter.

Our contractor can get anything, we're just trying to find a very ******** product thats intended to stand up to extreme use, and last a long time. I like the solid based epoxy with clear coat top finish, looks fantastic from the pictures (and from the shops I have seen in person) and it should last a long time...plus it'll look great along side the porcelain tiles.

Yep, I actually contacted Garon yesterday, thanks!

I also contacted http://www.ironitecoatings.com/ and they have very good pricing, in some cases 50-75% less than some competitors. Its a similar commercial grade solid based epoxy, and has a clear coat finish process as well. We're going to have it professional installed because its such a large area, and using the big pro equipment would definitely work better.

Any experience with Ironite?

Well, the quotes for the type of commercial grade products I have got so far are between $2-5k for the materials for the area we need to do.

Realize this is commercial, industrial grade stuff, thats going to be more expensive b/c its made for more extreme uses, or overkill :) But its worth it b/c the floor can make or break a luxury garage.

Entire floorprint is ~5k sqrft, but ~3000sqrft is going to be porcelain tile (showroom portion). The shop, daily driver spots, and farm room, are going to be coated with Ironite. 3 layers of the epoxy, and 3 clear coats. Very affordable, and it looks to be a fantastic commercial grade product to offer a long life and great quality. I'll update the forum with results and a review.
