Just got back from visiting the Snap-on man with a coworker.
Got a couple catalogs and ordered a yellow ratcheting screwdriver. He will have it for me in a few weeks.
You can see how happy I was!

Lol like a kid in a candy store! I know the feeling all too well....You're lucky you got out of there without spending more! All those shiny things can be tempting!

The first couple of times I walked onto a Snap On truck, I had the same reaction as your coworker, but got over the prices quickly. After that, I usually had the same look on my face as you did yours.

Nice Jeff, I'm tempted to call our local guy, but my coworkers will also think I'm nuts and I'll never get a raise because my boss will think I make too much money 8)

Is that a UT logo on your shirt?
I graduated from there in '96.

second time on the truck, the first time was this past summer when I saw a different guy stopped at Sears and got the 1100 catalog.

I've never been on a tool truck before, so when I get to(hopefully this summer) I'm sure I'll be just as, if not more, excited. I'm just worried I'm going to buy more than I'm planning to...

I have been on snap on trucks and Mac but Cornwell must be a ghost, kind of like that invisible space alien that comes down to Earth to hunt us! Oh look it's a Cornwell truck on 71 north why he must be doing 70mph just to avoid everyone and is that a small radar antenna on top of his truck in order to avoid the police and the public...

I have a Cornwell guy that comes every Wed. He does exist trust me. Now Mac on the other hand is the ghost around here. On a side note. Has anyone else noticed that Cornwell pliers have Channel Lock model numbers but with a CCL in front of it? Same thing but with orange handels instead of blue.

I have seen the Cornwell and Matco trucks near work...I assumed they did not exist haha
Some of the Wilde and Blue-Point pliers also look like rebranded Channellock. Now that I visited the Cornwell site and saw pics of the pliers, I may have a problem...I love orange haha
