I was on a hydraulics course last week and the instructor had a Parker SC-JR 8700 digital pressure gauge. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1383002264.542843.jpg
That thing was awesome. I have seen retail on them as high as $1500, but looks like you can scoop one up for $400-$500 online.
So is this gauge as awesome as it seems or is there better options out there? I like that I can go from 0-8700 psi in one gauge that should more than cover all the systems I expect to deal with. Does anybody own one of these or something similar? Your thoughts?

You might be able to find something from Omega that is more accurate for the same or less money. Really depends how accurate it needs to be. I think that gauge is .5% of full scale.
Something like this is around 1000 new with a .05% accuracy. Unless that gauge does some other things?
