I've had my scan tool (Autel 619) for a few years now (maybe closer to 5, but who's counting). Reading codes and using the possible problems part is all that I've really done with it. I know its capable of much more. Where is a study/tutorial for using the freeze frame info and other info? Thanks ahead for any information!!!

ScannerDanner from YouTube has a book/video series that is supposed to be good. Not cheap. Much of it is basic electrical/electronic theory.

The problem for "shade tree mechanics" is they don't get to practice enough. Also the really difficult problems absolutely require wiring diagrams.

Thanks wiz! I'll check that out. I don't believe I need theory or wiring diagram schooling, electrical is my trade, I'd like to know what I'm looking at (fuel trims, oxygen sensor % and or voltage, maf readings) and what they mean. I understand about getting practice and keeping it fresh in your mind, we all lose it when we don't use it! Thanks again.
