Adhesive shrink tube?
Available from many sources, what sizes do you need, and how long? Any shrink tube with adhesive is sold in 4 ft or shorter lengths, not coils like regular heat shrink.
It slightly pains me to say this... but I've actually had really good luck with the marine stuff from Harbor Freight (Item# 67598). It comes in a plastic box with multiple sizes. The only problem is it is pre-cut into 3-1/2" lenghts.
Has to be the "marine" stuff, the regular kind doesn't have the glue inside.
I also used to buy heat shrink tubing from Allied Electric (alliedelec.com, starting on catolog page 554), they had some stuff that would shrink 4:1 that I used for sealing connectors to the cable. But, thats when I was spending someone elses money on racecars because it was stupid expensive.

I had to do and underground splice on a 240V line (previous home owner buried it at about 4" deep and a shovel found it) and used a kit that I bought at HD. I don't know what kind of shrink tubing it was but I did need a propane torch to get it hot enough to shrink !The best heat shrink I've ever used is 3M ITCSN tubing. It's available in many sizes and in lengths up to 4' long. I did some 480V direct burial splices about 15 years ago that are still in service.
